Foundation as a series is already somewhat uneven and less than “pure.” Asimov pulled a Lucas and cluttered it with sequels and prequels that muddled it with connections to his robot novels. Then there’s the additional books by other writers. And if you want to get real picky, Second Foundation gets real pseudoscientific with the pseudo-psionics compared to the first two books.

San Francisco also has a good number of unprotected left turns. Cities are just asking for trouble.

"The Master Chief has gone rampant."

Looks like Quartus still doesn't support macOS.

Then what does it mean if "composition over inheritance" is also taught as a good practice in OO?

That's a rule-of-thumb to help beginners in making judgement calls. It doesn't mean inheritance should never be used.

True, but if the defining feature of something is a feature you should use sparingly, doesn't that mean other features are more definitive?

They didn't eat that much.

The hype cycle of 3D printers has probably plateaued into productivity now. Certainly the Maker movement is alive and well but it's not the hot new thing like it was a decade or a dozen years ago. Makerspaces aren't sprouting like mushrooms like they were before (partly because critical mass was already reached, partly because the pandemic reduction of physicality I'd guess), you don't see gimmicky 3D-printing kiosks at the mall anymore.

Not to mention they're probably thinking of motivations more along the lines of "brand-burnishing."

Perhaps it's natural then that when Palm went on to make WebOS they included the cards system for quick accessibility.
