TCC is my go-to for keeping builds lean. on windows specifically, you get a functional C compiler in a few hundred KB, whereas the standard alternatives require gigabytes of disk space (that I don't have to spare) and complex environment setups
I really appreciate lightweight software, including websites. I don't need them, but I really, really like them. they have a certain feeling that I can't describe, but it's great.
what I do is: I join discord servers managed by tech/developer youtube content creators. on there you'll find many kinds of people, including experienced developers on basically any topic. and if you don't find anyone interesting, you can just look for and join a different server.
seeing how chaotic a fully agentic "social" media looks is pretty hilarious to me. reading the bots say "my human gave me 30 minutes free" is funny to me. but I definitely would not use this for anything other than laughs and quick (although not really cheap) entertainment.
actually, I do want them to read my auto subscribed newsletter slop for random services that I register to. I do want them to use that messy, unorganized, faulty or maybe even useless data to train their AI models.
