I really think we need to change the system to create some sort of accountability here. I think a number of people in the current government need to go prison.
It doesn't have to make money now. But it's clearly pouring commercial-project-level of resources into uv, on the belief they will somehow recoup that investment later on.

I was using a continuous conversation with chatgpt to keep track of my lifts, and then I realize it never understand what day I'm talking to it, like there is no consistency, it might as well be the date of the first message you sent
I think that’s exactly why they’re not including timestamps. If timestamps are shown in the UI users might expect some form of “time awareness” which it doesn’t quite have. Yes you can add it to the context but I imagine that might degrade other metrics.
Another possible reason is that they want to discourage users from using the product in a certain way (one big conversation) because that’s bad for content management.
It’s an incredible tool for weightlifting. I use it all the time to analyze my workout logs that I copy/paste from Apple Notes.
Example prompts:
- “Modify my Push #2 routine to avoid aggravating my rotator cuff”

That said, I would never log directly in ChatGPT since chats still feel ephemeral. Always log outside of ChatGPT and copy/paste the logs when needed for context.
That's brilliant. I have an injury for a while now, and I change my routine on the fly at the gym, depending on whether I still feel pain or not. Much better if I change it before the next time I go, so I don't waste time figuring out what to replace.
I ask it to continuously tell me when I break personal records and what muscle groups Ive been focusing on in the last day (and what exercises I should probably do next). It doesnt work super well at doing any of these except tracking PRs
Indeed, incompetence is basically guaranteed if the organization selects for allegiance rather than competence. But I prefer to think that at least part of this was malicious compliance, because that suggests that at least some people at the FBI still have their soul.
My understanding is that many people were fired and replaced by loyalists at the FBI. I think there are a lot of incompetent people working there right now.
Slavery has never been illegal in the US. The 13th amendment leaves slavery legal as punishment for a crime. Oh also this isn't some quiet conspiracy or anything because the Union of correctional facility officers will openly say that things like legalizing recreational marijuana will hurt them, so they oppose it.
Same with cops.
They also oppose removing things like three strikes laws that haven't done a damn thing to make our country "safer" or better.
I know you’re joking, but grievance over the loss of slavery after the civil war is privately one of the major drivers behind Trumps extremely loyal core supporters.
