I am dreaming of the day a YT killer shows up. I enjoy the content enough to pay for premium but the laundry list of problems is GROWING. I feel like "TV" is on the precipice of a paradigm shift. I wish YT was not going to be our substrate for that moment but it looks inevitable.

Also, currently have a ton of MMR, Punk Planet and HeartAttack. These were far and away the "bigs". I am really hunting for more underground stuff. Back in the day (I am old) we had a physical zine library in our punk house and it was a treasure!! My goal is to connect later to institutions via IIIF (Pratt, Barnard, Brown, RISD) and other institutional databases. Hunting up Burn Collector and Cometbus currently.

the protocol spec itself has evolved rapidly as anthropic seems to have gone from side-project to taking it way more seriously as it took off

most of the servers are meh, but some of the stuff is cool, security remains an issue but can't ask a protocol to solve everything i guess

Thanks for this comment. I was coming in hot for one of my own but the comment was flagged quickly! Anchoring a blanket excuse for all bad actors on their “team” by pointing out one of “ours” is so shortsighted and unsustainable.
