1. Salary. Your pay will be less than the one of a Senior Developer.
2. Role and tasks. You will, as a junior developer, be taking on tasks better suited for your relatively "non ripe" skills. This doesn't mean that you'll get the short end of the stick. It means that you'll be assinged tasks that fit your current skillset.
3. Experience. While you might be a top-notch developer, you don't have "real-life" experience. Most of the times senior developers have years if not decades of experience on their backs. And with time comes wisdom.
These three things combined are a compelling reason to hire Junior devs for small tasks and projects.
I'm not gonna argue this is cool, but an iPad Mini is 249€ and you have larger support of "apps" (web or native). Sure, it's not waterproof and you have to have it connected most of the times, but you get a color screen and better touch capabilities.
The image shows the email "with and without" images. I'm having trouble buying that... If you were to specify the with and height for each cell, then wouldn't that result on a malformed email with images? Thanks.
I'm not aiming for better than. I was just aiming on building something useful for me, and from that this was born.
Jekyll never really appealed to me.
This might not be better, but it uses things that i like: Jade for the templating system and markdown for posts. You can have multiple templates for your blog, configuration files with variables for each (that are exposed to the template) and some other cool stuff :)
The internet is a weird place. I will never understand why Adria did what she did, from all i read she is an intelligent person yet she chose to do the most childish thing in the world... tattle the kid that said "penis" in class. I'm not saying that what the kid is wrong, but don't tattle on him flat-out... just tell him to stop before you go to the teacher and the whole class finds out and the kid gets expelled. But then, the whole class got mad at her. With reason, or not. It do... But the point is that this feels like kindergarden. JUST BE NICE TO EACH OTHERS. DON'T BE PENISES.
