A future project for me is to see if I can render the comments out to a string at the moment when Hugo is rebuilding my blog.

Then the comments would be in the DOM before the JavaScript is even loaded. I've done that with React apps before - it works great.

If that was working, I could rebuild the blog after every comment even, using a system like yours.



I think the serverless(ish) space is headed in an exciting direction overall, especially if we can drastically reduce wasted compute time. I'm watching your repo and hopefully will get inspired! Thanks for the reply Jim
