It's been about 15 years since I last tried to transcribe sound to text via speech recognition (I believe I used Dragon Speech Recognition).

Unfortunately, it wasn't accurate enough to use for transcribing long interviews, or even casual speaking (too many errors).

Is there anything currently out there that is accurate enough to rely on for transcribing and dictating?
