Travis cut the number of builds for Open Source projects to half (traviscistatus.com)

This change has dramatically increased the backlog for Linux builds (currently hovering around 9600 jobs) and has severely impacted the upcoming release of Fyne v1.4 as the wait time is now multiple hours.

Can anyone recommend a good alternative?

CircleCI was pretty good last I used them, but that's been a while, maybe someone else can chime in with more recent experiences?

Thanks @detaro, CircleCI has come up a few times, definitely worth looking into.

GitHub actions seems to be the new cool kid, if you are hosting on GitHub. Sadly to depend more on GitHub, though...

Thanks @stsewd, Fyne is hosted on GitHub[0] and has been using Actions for more and more checks.

I have been experienced a lot of slow builds on several Open Source projects. You can see the drop around the 23rd.

With these new numbers Travis has not got through it's backlog in over a day now.

Last week was bad, this week is a lot, lot worse.
