I just can't handle using patchwork UIs like LibreOffice (I have basically given up with office suites on Linux and use Google Docs) - as it turns out, interacting with pleasing things improves the enjoyment of using those things.

The left menu of Kexi (https://calligra.org/assets/img/kexi-summary.png) is very visually appealing to me and I wish more Linux software used the mix of dark and light for side menus.
