Similar story for me. Switched 5 years ago after 10 years with Apple. You have to be pretty determined to make the switch.

I love it. I’m really happy with the switch and have no plans to ever go back but it’s a decision you need to choose and commit to. I’d never recommend it to somebody else. If Linux is right for you, you will seek it out and make it happen.
