In this analogy, would OpenAI be the Ethereum-equivalent of AI space - actually innovative tech and some real world utility with a strong team of developers?
What non-scam/non-marketing-bullshit-and-no-product-in-sight came out of Ethereum? I know a few people that work in related field and it's shady money managed by people with exorbitant personality issues doing endless POC that will be sold... one day... to someone... totally, dude, like, radically expensive...
A very first-world perspective. I live in the third world. My currency keeps crashing every year. There are currency controls over how much foreign currency I can own. My government also randomly enacts haphazard financial policies, such as outlawing 86% of all circulating cash.
Crypto, especially stablecoins, has actually helped me protect my wealth. Real use case for me at least, and many others like me in the third world.
The world is bigger than you think, and their problems are more varied than you realize.
