The goal of this bill is to increase public confidence by censoring some of the most trusted people in people's lives. For me it has the contrary effect, leading me to distrust my doctor as an agent of people that I trust less. That decrease in trust transfers to other medical advice. To the extent that it's usually good advice, which I believe, that places lives at serious risk.
You can try to increase confidence by censoring contrary information or with open debate. I'm grateful that the former approach is somewhat restrained by the federal constitution.
