This is just a static site with a big zero isn't it?


That's the joke, no computation needs to happen because for as long as there exists JavaScript, there will to be an incessant stream of gratuitous JavaScript frameworks.


I feel like it would be 10x funnier if it actually linked to a 1-day-old framework each day.


Yes, virtually empty and yet still takes 0.4s to get to First Contentful Paint. Maybe the author should look into a more performant framework.


Maybe (s)he should make a new one to combat this issue. In all seriousness though the amount of nextjs dependencies on this practically static site is probably part of the joke.


what are you saying? You don't need an entire new js framework just to call document.getElementById?


No, I actually need a new framework to wrap React so that React can call document.getElementByID. I've never gotten any element by ID personally in my life, that's the stick shift of JavaScript.
