Check out langorigami.com. Robert Lang switched from being a physicist to being an origami artist. He has all kinds of exhibits etc., and has written several origami books, some of which have a lot of math in them. He still gets to use physics sometimes too, like when he was involved with the design of a car airbag that, when stowed, is folded up like origami.
