I got it installed on Ubuntu and managed to get OneApi in blender, pytorch and stable diffusion playground. I’d say if this is your primary interest, wait another generation. I’m such a fan of opensource vendor drivers that I had to try already
I'm pretty happy with Arch so I don't think I'll switch.
As far as stable diffusion I read a guide on setting it up using WSL and it never worked. No telling what's wrong because there's just very little info about these GPU's out there.
I have an nVidia card and I never managed to get any AI stuff working on my base system. The only thing that's worked off the box is Docker images with CUDA support.
