you are right dan. its nice to see some info here which is more inline with the reality that syria, lebanon, jordan etc. are all within this wider conflict. there is a lot of history people miss and without that contex its too easy to become onesided or draw incomplete conclusions. i dont say one or the other side is right, but there is a lot more than oktober 7 and 'terrorism' involved here. I am very worried how this will impact the region, but also perceptions towards the region from outsiders lacking this context.
