Their big point is crypto isn't being used for purchases like it was promised, which I assumed was true.
It's great that they're wrong, though. How often do you use crypto directly to pay for your bills and groceries? Must be nice not needing a credit card anymore. Those interest rates and credit scores can be a killer!
It's more or less how my relationship with it went. I was a keen early adopter, but it's been obvious for years that any interest in making them useful has been totally eclipsed by bullshit and/or criminal activity.
