What kind of derangement are hiring managers laboring under when they give counterproductive and contradictory feedback like “your application was rejected because the take home looked like AI” and “if you don’t use AI at work, you’re fired”.

What the hell is this? Am I too autistic too understand this, or are people just utterly incomprehensible because they maintain a stack of interoperable, uncritical cognitive sludge that they pass off as thinking.
